PRIDE Weekend 2011

While we were unable to present a Third Annual PRIDE Corvallis Celebration, we are excited to announce a weekend of alternative events!

PRIDE weekend will be June 23rd, 24th and 25th.

June 23rd:

Bites for Rights!

Join local businesses as they support Equality in Oregon!  Bites for Rights is an annual fund raising event for Basic Rights of Oregon.   This year Interzone and Old World Deli are on the line-up to donate a portion of their daily sales to BRO.  To find out more and/or how to participate if you are a local business, visit the Bites for Rights page!

June 24th:

Drag Bingo Fundraiser for LGBTQ Scholarships!

Bingo featuring Miss Poison Waters, a female impersonator and comedienne, as the caller. Everyone is welcome! Cross-dressing encouraged but highly optional. This is a fundraiser for the new Steven Leider LGBTQ Scholarship, which will be awarded (hopefully annually) to an Oregon State student who has been cut off from family financial support after coming out. June 25th:

PRIDE in Wonderland

Stonewall Dance and Social is teaming up with PRIDE Corvallis to present PRIDE in Wonderland!  This is a 21+ event with a no host bar (beer and wine!),  catered snacks from OSU Catering, a live DJ, and more!  All proceeds will go towards the 2012 PRIDE Corvallis Celebration!!  To get to Club Escape, park in the MU Bookstore or in the parking lot between the OSU baseball field and the McAlexander Field house and just follow the rainbow balloons!!

PRIDE Weekend 2012

PRIDE 2012 will again be held in Central Park.    We will start with our traditional parade (route to be determined) and will be followed by a full day of musicians, story telling, dancing, face painting, childrens activities, vendors, a non-profit expo, and much more!

A variety of late night activities designed with everyone in mind will finish our glamorous PRIDE weekend!
