PRIDE Weekend 2009

Friday, June 26th

Our weekend will kick-off with the Stonewall Dance and Social!

Saturday, June 27th

11:00am - 12:00pm PRIDE Parade
(Participants will meet at the parking lot on the corner of 14th and Campus way, and will proceed in a loop down campus way to Jefferson, taking a left on 7th to disband into Central Park where the festivities will continue!)

12:00pm - 8:00pm PRIDE in the Park  (events going on all day)-

• Musical performances featuring Johanna, Soromundi Lesbian Chorus of Eugene, Confluence LGBTQ choir, Erika, Tirade, Helena Handbasket, and more! Click here for a full listing of performers and times!

• Children’s events (a bouncy castle, face painting, games, and more!)

• Delicious food from the Vibe!
  

All Day Eating for Equality at Bomb’s Away!  A portion of the day’s proceeds at their physical restaurant will be donated to the Community of Welcoming Congregations to further their work with equality.

7:00pm - 11:30pm Electric Rainbow Rave - a 21 and under dance hosted by Out N About
Youth at the Westminster House - on the corner of 23rd and  Monroe

$2 at the door, no glass containers or open water bottles allowed

8:00PM-12:00AM Big Gay Karaoke at the Vibe coffee shop!  Serenade that special someone!

9:00PM-12:00PM Timmy Straw CD release party - After party with Dj Kixotechat at Cloud 9

10:00pm - 2:00am PRIDE Afterparty!  Hosted by Platinum Night Club!  Come get your PRIDE on!
