We Can’t Make PRIDE Happen Without You!!

Set-Up Volunteers: will help distribute chairs and tables across the park, set up tents, label tables for arriving organizations, distribute recycling and garbage cans throughout the park and set-up decorations. 8am-10am (10 people needed)
Parade Volunteers: play an integral in every parade! They will help get the various parade groups lined-up, as well as, helping control traffic during the parade. 10am-12pm (15 people needed)
Info Booth Volunteers: will be stationed at the main tent/info booth. They will be in charge of welcoming individuals to the event, handing out the day of programs, answering general questions, and handing out first aid supplies when needed. 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm (2 volunteers per shift)
Kids Corner Volunteers: are fun and energetic! They will help staff distribute prizes, run games and activities, and generally supervise the kid’s area. 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm (2 volunteers per shift)
Face Painters: Face painters do not need to be experienced that just need to be creative, ready to paint and to have fun! 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm(1-2 volunteers per shift)
Sound System Volunteer: will set out the audio system that will be used all day in the park. Prior knowledge of audio systems is required. 10am-12pm (1 volunteer)
Entertainment Volunteers: will assist the entertainment chair in coordinating the musical acts and entertainment for the day. You do not need to know anything about sounds systems although that would be a big plus! 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm (1 volunteer per shift)
Floaters: These volunteers will help keep an eye on everything throughout the day. They will be walking around and enjoying the event while monitoring the over all safety of the event, as well as, the status of the various garbage and recycling cans. These volunteers could be asked to distribute water to vendors and non-profit booth, or to step into a volunteer shift that has not been fill or cover for another volunteer if they need to leave early. 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm(1 volunteer per shift)
Clean-Up Volunteers: These volunteers are the shining stars of the day. They will help staff break down tables and chairs and move them into the truck. They will move all the garbage and recycling cans to one location, as well as, scanning the park for debris and picking it up. 7:30pm-9pm (10 volunteers needed)
