We Can’t Make PRIDE Happen Without You!!

June 25th: PRIDE In Wonderland

Set-up: 6pm-8pm - decorations, table and chair set up (lifting minimal) (4-6 volunteers needed)

Door person/Bouncer: Take and sell tickets at the door (2 volunteers needed for both the 8-10pm shift and the 10-midnight shift - total of 4)

Breakdown: Help clean and return space to original condition (4-6 volunteers needed - should be done by 1am)

PRIDE Weekend 2012

We need YOU to help us put on PRIDE Weekend 2012.  We are now accepting applications to serve on the 2012 planning committee for the following chairs:

Vendor Chair - works with and recruits local for-profit vendors to sell their wares at PRIDE in the Park, leads volunteers in this area.

Parade Chair - works with and recruits community and state groups wishing to be part of our wonderful parade, meets with Corvallis Police Department to approve parade route, leads volunteers in this area.

Non-Profit Chair - works with non-profit groups to put on the non-profit expo, leads volunteers in this area.

Marketing/Publicity Chair - works with media outlets to market and promote PRIDE 2012, liason with graphic designers producing print material, leads volunteers in this area.  Should be a competent writer (will prepare press releases) and familiar with social media (facebook especially).

All chair positions are 12 month appointments and are currently unpaid.  Please send an email with your name, contact information, and a brief statement as to your experience in this area.  Time commitment includes one monthly meeting (~2 hours) and about 5-10 hours of planning/meeting with volunteers/vendors/etc.

Not interested in being a chair? Not a problem!  We accept any and all volunteers!  Just email us with you name and contact information as well as what you would like to do and we will connect you with the correct chair for more involvement!
